movement and action in English.

The class is aimed for Mums and babies/toddlers age: 3 months to 4 years in a small setting
environment of no more than 8 participants. The methods and techniques are based on the
expertise and experience of a qualified Physical Education and dance teacher who has
many years experience in this field in Israel and the UK.
The class puts an emphasis on the interaction between the child and the parent while
engaging in songs and rhymes known and familiar to them. Every child in the group will
be working according to his or\ her ability and understanding, with the help and guidance
of their parent. The child will learn the basic definitions of his body parts, spatial

On September 23-30th, The 26th Haifa International Film Festival. Opening ceremony
with the projection of the new film, Tamara Drewe, by Stephen Frears, a lifetime
achievement award to Ronit Elkabetz for her contribution to Israeli film and to the Israel
Film Fund to mark its 30th anniversary
The festival will close with the movie The Town, by director, actor and screenwriter Ben
Affleck (Hulioodlande, To survive this Christmas)
This year the festival program consists of approximately 130 new films from 40 countries,
including prominent films participating in this year's leading festivals and official
international competitions . 20 films were screened in various frameworks at the 2010
Cannes festival. Next to the films, there will be special events - panels, international
conferences, master Classes and many guests from abroad who are expected at the festival
A special tribute to American director John Huston will include four new film
restorations: African Queen, The man who wanted to be king, Moulin Rouge and Dead.
This tribute will also include the documentary Cameraman by British cameraman Jack
Cardiff, who died earlier this year, and created several of the great achievements of the
early color photographic film. Cardiff, photographed the African Queen, films of Powell
and Pressburger and many other cinematic classics.

several events for the months of September and October.
1. September Pub Night @ Nola Socks. Sunday, the 19th
of September, at 9 pm. The day after Yom Kippur, join us for
our monthly pub night at the Nola Socks bar in Ziv. Nola Socks is
located at 4 Shalom Aleichem Street. For a map
2. Opening Event @ Alan's Place. Saturday, the 2nd of
October, at 8 pm. After the holidays end, we officially start
the year with our annual opening event. It's an evening of
delicious desserts combined with an opportunity to welcome the
newcomers and to reconnect with old riends. The opening event
will take place at the home of Alan Miller at
114 HaTishbi Street in the Mercaz Carmel area of Haifa. To get to
Alan's from HaNasi Street, turn onto Brandeis Street (across from
the Nof Hotel), and go one block. Alan's building is on the corner
of Brandeis, and he lives on the third floor. For a map If you
need additional directions, please contact Alan at 052-790-3793.
There is no need to RSVP for the opening event, but if you come we
ask that you bring the following based on the first letter of your last
name:
