walk following a grain of wheat in the Nahal Taninim reserve. We follow the process from
milling the grain into flour, turning it into dough and baking it on the open hearth. We
continue to the birding park in Ma'agan Micha'el where we will watch a wide array of birds.

Nature Reserve This special Festival happening will include the fabulous spring flowers on
Mt. Hermon, overlooks into Syria and the Hula Valley, and a variety of activities for children.
We will hike among the site of many battles and hear stories of the fighters, and search for birds
and butterflies, as we enjoy the clear mountain air.This event is held in memory of Yehudah
Weiss, an SPNI guide who fell in the first Lebanon War in 1982. Self-arrival. Tours leave
every half hour from 10 AM to 2 PM.

65, in honor of Hebrew Book Week; CODE: 71006115 This hike takes us to the Carmel
where we follow the footsteps of books and authors during the pleasant
evening hours. We visit the "Mishmar HaCarmel" farm and hear the story of Yitzchak Rish. We
follow the story of Lawrence Oliphant among the alleyways of Dalyat-al-Carmel and learn
more about the history of our national anthem, "Hatikvah," by Naftali Hertz imber. We hike
along the shaded trail of Nahal Rakit and end with a beautiful view of the sunset over the sea.

These small classes of up to five Mothers and their babies promote well-being after the
baby. They focus on pelvic floor muscles, deep abdominals, postural awareness and general
strength and muscle tone. While you, the Mums exercise and enjoy your ME time, the
babies lie by your side or sit in a car seat supervised by an experienced childminder. The
atmosphere is calm and relaxed and gives you the opportunity to meet new Mums, who, like
yourself, want to regain their pre baby shape. The classes take place in Vardiya every
Wednesday at 10:00 am starting in March.

Green Friday In Haifa
Been living in Haifa for a while? Feel like you haven't seen enough of
it? On June 22 Haifa's young adult's Center, Hillel Haifa and GSO are
sending you for a day of exploring, experiencing and fun in Usafiya,
Druze village on the outskirts of Haifa!
The program is as follows :
7:40- Departure from Port campus
8:20- Departure from Technion City campus
9:00- Arriving at Usafiya
9:15- Introduction to the Druze Culture
11:30- 13:30 Free time in Usafiya's bazaar
14:00- Approximate time to head back to the bus and return to Technion City
campus and port campus
Please be sure to bring good walking shoes, water, a hat and sunscreen
For those who keep kosher, you are advised to bring your own food (there might
not be kosher food in Usafiya
The introduction will be given mostly in English
To register: The amount of places is limited, so first come first served!
